Join CAzBA for a fieldtrip up north to Tonto Creek situated below the scenic Mogollon Rim northeast of Payson at an elevation of about 6000 feet northeast of Payson, This trip doesn't require a high-clearance vehicle; and there are numerous places to stop along the three-mile road that winds along uphill to the Tonto Fish Hatchery.
