DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Join us at the Boyce Thompson Ar=
boretum on Saturday September 13 as we tackle our 2nd Annual Butterfly=
Count. Counting starts at 9AM, so try to arrive 8:30-ish. Last year=
we held the count in August but found the heat just a little too over=
powering. By making the change we hope to pick up more counters! 74 s=
pecies of butterflies appear on the Arboretum's checklist, while the r=
ecord for most species observed in a single day is 38 by John Saba in =
October, 2005. Currently Xami Hairstreak is causing a lot of buzz arou=
nd BTA.=0D=0A =0D=0AThe count will be led by the Arboretum's Education=
Director Chris Kline, a long=0D=0Atime butterfly enthusiast and monar=
ch researcher. Chris and his corps of expert=0D=0Avolunteers lead mont=

h October. The Arboretum is located on US 60, about 20 miles east of=0=
