Yoga is back! Practice yoga in the peaceful and magical surroundings of the Butterfly Conservatory, featuring thousands of beautiful fluttering butterflies. This hour-long class will guide guests through a series of yoga poses that help build strength and gain flexibility.

Butterfly Brushstrokes Painting Class

This expertly guided, delightful painting class promises an inspiring experience as each attendee crafts their very own “butterfly Picasso” masterpiece. Waking Up with Butterflies

Savor a serene hour, capturing the beauty of butterflies, birds, or reptiles through the camera lens. Join Butterfly Wonderland for an exclusive opportunity as Director of Animal Care & Entomologist Derek Kellogg stands ready to address inquiries about butterflies, plants, and the captivating rainforest ecosystem. At the same time, participants capture compelling images of one of Mother Nature’s most beautiful and delicate creatures!

Spring Butterfly Hike to Rackensack Wash by CAZBA Hike Leader Adriane Grimaldi

Gear up for an unforgettable adventure with the Central Arizona Butterfly Association(CAZBA)! Join Butterfly Wonderland’s Director of Education, and CAZBA hike leader, Adriane Grimaldi, on a special butterfly inspired hike to Rackensak Wash to look for the amazing Yucca Giant-Skipper and the Sara Orangetip butterflies. Participants are asked to wear good hiking shoes, a hat, and bring binoculars, water, and snacks/lunch. Hike difficulty: moderate (no real trails, rocky creek bed).

Monarch Butterfly Tagging Trip to Southern Arizona

Join Butterfly Wonderland’s Director of Education, Adriane Grimaldi, for an extraordinary Monarch butterfly tagging adventure in Southern Arizona, near Sonoita. This hands-on experience offers a rare opportunity to witness the Monarchs’ migration to Mexico and learn the art and importance of tagging. Get up close to these magnificent creatures (and other native Arizona butterflies) and gain insights into their incredible journey. Remember to bring essentials like a hat, water, sunscreen, and a sack lunch. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to connect with nature.
